Griffith Park – Located in Los Angeles, this park offers a variety of easy hiking trails, ranging from flat paths to hills. The most popular route, the Observatory Trail, is 2.4 miles round trip with an elevation gain of 335 feet.

For intermediate hikers:

Alamere Falls Trail – Located in San Francisco, this trail is 8.4 miles round trip, with beautiful coastal views and a stunning waterfall. It’s rated as moderate difficulty due to some steep climbs, but the scenery makes it worth it.

Diamond Head Trail – Located in Hawaii, this trail is 1.6 miles round trip and offers panoramic views of Waikiki and Honolulu. The trail is steep in some parts, but there are plenty of rest areas along the way.

The Narrows – Located in Zion National Park, this route is a unique experience of wading through the Virgin River. It’s 9.4 miles round trip and requires a permit. The difficulty level varies depending on the water level and weather conditions.

For experienced trekkers:

Half Dome Trail – Located in Yosemite National Park, this trail is 14.2 miles round trip and requires a permit to hike to the top. The route includes several steep climbs and a cable section, but the views from the top of Half Dome are stunning.

Angels Landing Trail – Also located in Zion National Park, this trail is a challenging 5.4-mile round trip with a steep ascent and some narrow paths. The views from the top are unforgettable.

The Inca Trail – Located in Peru, this 26.2-mile trail takes you through the beautiful Andes mountains and leads to the iconic Machu Picchu. The trail is challenging, with steep ascents and high altitudes, but the history and scenery make it a must-do for experienced trekkers.
